Principled Journalism and Government Relations in a New Era — A one-day conference for South Florida journalists, government officials and public relations professionals will take place on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at University of Miami’s School of Communication.
Leaders of the Society of Professional Journalists today urged the nation’s media to hold their military analysts to the same ethical standards journalists are required to meet concerning potential conflicts of interest, financial ties and relationships with government agencies.
